- 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cup mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- basil, for garnish

Lay zucchini planks on paper towels, sprinkle with salt, and let sit 15 minutes to draw out moisture. Pat dry.

Brown turkey sausage in a skillet, breaking into crumbles. Stir in marinara sauce.

Mix ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a 9x13 baking dish.

Layer zucchini planks, ricotta mixture, and meat sauce. Repeat 2-3 times.

Top with remaining mozzarella. Cover with foil.

Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 more minutes until bubbly and golden.
