Ingredients

  • 4 lb pork shoulder
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 8 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cup green cabbage
  • 1 orange, segmented
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • warm tortillas or Cuban bread, for serving

    Score the pork shoulder and rub with garlic, cumin, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

    Place in the slow cooker and pour orange juice and lime juice over the top.

    Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours until pork is fall-apart tender.

    Shred the pork and toss with the cooking juices.

    Make citrus slaw: toss cabbage, orange segments, cilantro, and apple cider vinegar.

    Serve shredded mojo pork on warm tortillas or Cuban bread, topped with citrus slaw.
