Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup s sticky (glutinous) rice, soaked in water for at least 4 hours
- 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- extra coconut cream, for drizzling

Drain the soaked rice. Steam in a bamboo steamer or steamer basket lined with cheesecloth for 20-25 minutes until tender and translucent.

While rice steams, heat coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Do not boil. Remove from heat.

Transfer hot steamed rice to a bowl. Pour about 3/4 of the coconut sauce over the rice. Gently fold to combine. Cover and let sit for 15 minutes to absorb.

Mound sticky rice on plates. Fan mango slices alongside.

Drizzle remaining coconut sauce and extra coconut cream over the top. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
