Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • steamed bok choy, for serving
  • steamed rice, for serving
  • slice d green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Steps

    Whisk together miso paste, mirin, sake, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil until smooth.

    Coat cod fillets with the miso glaze. For best results, marinate in the refrigerator for 2-24 hours.

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Place cod on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.

    Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with steamed bok choy and rice.
