Air Fryer Cajun Catfish Strips

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb catfish fillets, cut into strips
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- salt, to taste
- cooking spray
- tartar sauce and lemon wedges, for serving
- coleslaw, for serving

Mix cornmeal, flour, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt in a bowl.

Dip catfish strips in beaten eggs, then dredge in the cornmeal mixture, pressing to adhere.

Arrange strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray with cooking spray.

Air fry at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and fish flakes easily.

Squeeze fresh lemon over the strips.

Serve with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, and coleslaw.
